Functions of RTO in Madhya Pradesh:

Fitness certificates for new transport vehicles are valid for a tenure of 2 years, after which they will have to be renewed annually. To get the fitness certificate renewed, the vehicle owner can approach an RTO.

How long is the Certificate of Registration valid for in the case of transport and non-transport vehicles?

In the case of transport vehicles, the Certificate of Registration is valid for 2 years. Following the 2 years, the owner of the vehicle must ensure the fitness check is done each year. In the case of non-transport vehicles, the Certificate of Registration is valid for 15 years.
